On the weekend we will need to do some server maintenance again, which will result in some downtime. In particular we will migrate to a new server. I know, we just did that like two months ago, but since some time our visitor count increased by a lot, especially on the API. We were able to tune the current setup a lot, but our visitor numbers will probably (hopefully) continue to increase over time. At the moment we have a rather small cloud based server, which we could expand of course and already did, but it's not cost-efficient. So we will migrate to dedicated server again. Hopefully those resources are enough for quite some time.
An appeal from our site to all heavy users: if you plan to utilize the API heavily, please contact us first. So we can prepare and it won't have an impact on all other users. And maybe think about dropping a coin in the jukebox, so we can rock on. Thank you!
